About the Gig:
The Sr. Business Development Representative
 will have the primary responsibility for generating new accounts and building strategic partnerships, a true hunter!  This position will also oversee the management of account referrals from in-house and from external referral partners.
Sr. Business Development Job Responsibilities:
Work with management team members to maintain consistent corporate strategy is executed. Support atmosphere of teamwork always. Take initiative in designing resolutions for potential high-end merchants. In charge of selling services and gift card/loyalty programs using the consultative sales approach. Must participate and contribute to all sales and training sessions. Actively work to Self-Generate Leads using methods such as Cold-Calling. Continuously maintain and update contact information in the various applicable Customer Relationship Management systems, by the end of the day. Set, achieve and exceed the sales revenue quota targets by prospecting. Should be actively developing new customer relationships and servicing existing client referrals. Develop and execute a Territory/Portfolio Sales Plan to attack specific segments against mutually agreed upon performance objectives. Work with the online reporting system to update sales pipeline and forecasts.

Sr. Business Development Representative Requirements:
  • 5+ years of business to business sales experience, preferably in financial services, FinTech, and/or ISV/VAR.
  • Experience with merchant services and/or selling in the payment integration space.
  • Possess a proven track record as a hunter in B2B business development. 
  • Be comfortable and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit high energy and positive attitude.  
  • Possess strong client presentation and communication skills.
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Passion to be the best at what you do.
  • Motivated to grow your business and relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred.
Desired Experience
  • Understanding of POS technology.
  • Understanding of hosted web solutions and cloud technology.
